Ford Focus ST Review

Overview4 out of 5

Bored of your Focus ST? Got a spare grand tucked away? Ford may just have the answer.

Go to one of five authorised Ford dealerships across the country, exchange a large handful of your hard-earned and prepare to have the performance of your Focus hot hatch transformed.

Power shoots up from an already impressive 222bhp to 256bhp, sending the 0-62mph tumbling from 6.5 seconds to just 5.9 seconds. Even more stunning, 0-100mph drops almost 2 seconds.

The Mountune performance pack follows on from the similar treatment to the last generation Fiesta. Here, the Focus ST gets bigger intercoolers, better engine air intake and tweaks to the ECU.

The cost? Ford is charging £1,120 plus fitting. We think that's a small price to pay to fall back in love with your Focus ST.
