Join Disabled Talent

Registration

Click on Register to complete your registration form. A few suggestions:

In the CV Summary you should outline your education, training, work experience, life experiences, skills, interests and ambitions - and please provide dates.

If appropriate, provide full programme/film/theatre credits - with dates.

Provide accurate personal details - preferably including email address and phone numbers.

If your Occupation is not listed, check "Other" - this will generate an email to us in which you can state your occupation; where appropriate we will add your occupation to the list.

Provide as much detail as you can.

Complete all the sections.

Pictures

You can submit up to 3 pictures of yourself. If you are seeking on-screen work pictures are essential. Even if not, your profile will be more lively to look at with a few images!

If you have a digital camera or scanner you can send JPEG files; the width of each picture should be 160 pixels.

Prints can be anything from normal snapshot size to maximum 10"x8", but be aware that we will reduce them to around passport size for uploading onto the site.

Amend your details

Stay in touch!

Producers will not use 4Disabled Talent if it contains out of date information. Please try to visit the site regularly. We will remind you to check your details from time to time, but only you know when you change your email address or mobile number, or when you change jobs or finish a contract and become available for work!

To amend your details: log in using your Username and Password. Click on Your Profile and choose Amend. This will take you to your registration form, where you can make any changes necessary, then Submit.

And please let us know if you get that dream TV job via the database so that we can monitor its use. See Success Stories for some examples of members who have found work or appeared in programmes.

Privacy

Your details will only appear in the 4Disabled Talent database if you consent to be included and accept the Terms. Producers who are approved to search the database will see only the information supplied by you on the registration form. They will not see your postal address, which is needed for administration purposes only.

You can request a copy of your entry as it appears on the website (ie as seen by producers who search the database).

Leave Disabled Talent

Anyone who does not wish to remain on 4Disabled Talent should send an email to: awalsh@channel4.co.uk

In the subject of the email write REMOVE FROM 4DISABLED TALENT. In the body of the email please give your full name.
