The Researcher Development Programme
Applications are invited from independent production companies from the Nations and Regions for the highly acclaimed Researcher Development Programme (RDP).
This unique training initiative, delivered by TRC media in partnership with Channel 4, enables independent production companies to employ a development researcher for a period of 12 months.
The RDP polishes researchers’ skills and ideas to network standard and offers top-flight training in treatment writing, pitching, DV camera and future media, amongst other specialist workshops. Critically, the RDP also provides unprecedented access to UK network commissioning editors.

TRC media works in partnership with UK and international broadcasters, producers and agencies to provide training and research to the creative content industry.
