Hollywood actor and director Ben Stiller is to be honoured for his work by New York's Museum of the Moving Image (MOMI).
The annual "black-tie salute" is scheduled for November 12 at the famous Cipriani restaurant on 42nd Street.
Stars are expected to pay tribute and present clips from his film career.
Stiller has acted in a host of Hollywood comedies including Zoolander, Starsky and Hutch - alongside Owen Wilson - and in Meet The Fockers. He also guest-starred in an episode of Friends as Rachel's psychotic date.
MOMI director Rochelle Slovin said: "Ben Stiller is one of the great talents of American entertainment: a memorable actor, an accomplished director and writer, an Emmy Award winner and innovative producer."
His latest film, Tropic Thunder has stormed the US box office taking a total $65.7 million so far.
